PSYLLIUM HUSKS

Often used to increase fibre intake and in detox regimes

A herbal food supplement used to increase dietary fibre intake. 1 teaspoon of psyllium husk has the equivalent amount of fibre as a serving of porridge. Packed in a resealable kraft bag, loose psyllium husks help to support healthy bowels and keep you regular. Also useful taken 20 minutes before a meal to help you feel fuller when reducing portion sizes as part of a calorie restricted diet.

To increase fibre intake, support bowel regularity, and reduce portion size consumption.

Ingredients

Contains 100% psyllium husks (Plantago ovata)

Directions

Take a teaspoon mixed with water, and follow by a full glass (250ml) of water. Do not forget to drink this much water as without it you may start to feel uncomfortable.

Contraindications

If you are over 60 years or age, giving this to a child under 6 years old, or you are unsure if this product is suitable, please speak to us, or your healthcare practitioner, before using this product.

Side effects

There are no recorded side effects for this product. Similar products have occasionally caused stomach discomfort or bloating. Ensure you always take with a full 250ml glass of water. However, if a side effect is experienced please let us know.
