In Scottish folklore rowan berries have been used for millennia to ward off evil spirits and enchantment. Now we use natural rowan berry vitamin C to ward off the daily stresses and free radicles our skin faces.
At Napiers both rowan and heather are plants close to our family’s heart. Duncan Napiers’ sons, Walter and Duncan Jr, would spend days wandering in the highlands collecting herbs for our remedies.
