Lorraine is a qualified therapist based here at Napiers. She can offer you a confidential, safe and supporting space to talk through whatever you are struggling over a period of time which suits you.
There are times in all of our lives when we might struggle with feelings, thoughts or behaviours. Counselling – exploring these with a professional therapist – can help people resolve and move past whatever it is that is stopping them from living their best life. The relationship you form with a counsellor helps you develop your own insight and self-awareness, so that you can move forward with confidence and trust in yourself.
Working with Lorraine to explore why you feel or act as you do can help you make the changes you need to move forward with your life.
As a therapist with an approach based in person centred therapy, Lorraine believes that a supportive non-judgemental relationship between client and counsellor is fundamental in therapy.Everyone's journey is unique and she will bring an understanding of a range of approaches to find what works for you.
She has worked with clients on a range of issues including anger, depression, loneliness, anxiety, abuse and life stage difficulties. Clients' ages have ranged from 18-80 – it's never to late to begin therapy.
