How To Use St John's Wort Tincture (Hypericum perforatum)

Adults: Take up to 4 ml (80 drops), 3 times a day in a little water, unless otherwise told by a qualified herbal medicine practitioner. This amount may be added to cold or warm water, juice or another drink. Do not exceed the stated dose.

Ingredients

Hypericum perforatum extracted in sugar beet ethanol (alcohol) and water. The part used is the tops. The strength is 1:3 45%.
Contains alcohol. Not all herbs are suitable in pregnancy, breastfeeding or for young children, or if you are unwell, or taking any medication. If in doubt, please ask us, your medical herbalist or healthcare practitioner. This product is not intended for use by a person under the age of 18. Photosensitivity can occur in susceptible individuals. Fair-skinned individuals should take precautions when exposed to the sun, and It is advisable that the elderly use protective eyewear when exposed also. Speeds up the elimination of many drugs through phase liver detoxification and can interfere with MAOIs, SSRIs, narcotics & reserpine. Avoid use with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), simvastatin and pravastatin, omeprazole (a proton pump inhibitor), irinotecan, tacrolimus, verapamil, methadone, theophylline and oral contraceptives.
