Raspberry leaf helps mums-to-be prepare for delivery
Raspberry Leaf Tea is a tasty herbal tea drunk by mothers-to-be in the last three months of pregnancy as they prepare for giving birth - that special, wonderful day! It can also be drunk after the big day during the months when you are breastfeeding and trying to get back to your old self and shape.
• Tones and strengthens
• Helps prepare for birth
• Restores tone after the birth
Raspberry leaf is best taken as a warm, but not too hot infusion. Although traditionally mothers have drunk a cupful a day from the third month, current safety advice recommends that raspberry leaf tea is not drunk until the last trimester.
GOING LOOSE!
Many teas are sold in teabags these days. Our Napiers herbal teas are not and there are good reasons why not. A teabag only contains around 2 or 3 grams of very dry, finely chopped or powdered herbs. We believe that not chopping herbs into tiny pieces, which dries out their natural oils, helps to preserve their beneficial goodness. s the colour, and the taste can vary slightly from harvest to harvest.
