How To Use Essential Oils

Essential oils are highly concentrated plant extracts and should always be used with care.

Cinnamon bark oil is particularly strong and sensitising. It should not be applied to the skin or used in the bath, even when diluted. For external use only.

Diffusers & Vaporisers:
Add 2–3 drops of cinnamon bark essential oil to water in your diffuser or vaporiser to fill your space with a warm, spicy aroma. This method is ideal for creating a comforting, seasonal atmosphere.

Inhalation:
Add 1 drop of cinnamon bark essential oil to a bowl of hot water, cover your head with a towel, and inhale the steam for a few minutes. Keep eyes closed during inhalation to avoid irritation.

Room Sprays:
Mix 5–8 drops of cinnamon bark essential oil in 100ml of distilled water with a dispersing agent (such as witch hazel or alcohol). Shake well before use and spray lightly into the air or onto fabrics (patch test first).

Blends:
