Menopause Home Test KitS
2 easy-to-use home testing kits to check the level of Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH), which increases during menopause, in your urine.
The usual onset of menopause is around 51 years old, i.e. between 45 and 55 years old, although this varies from woman to woman. Checking FSH helps you to understand the changes in your body and to take the best preventive action by keeping the right hormones balanced and following a healthy lifestyle.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) is a hormone which increases during menopause. FSH secretion causes the follicle to mature and LH (Luteinizing Hormone) secretion triggers ovulation. The determination of FSH and LH level is indicated for the detection of periods ending (amenorrhea) and irregular (anovulatory) cycles.
The test works by showing the concentration of FSH in your urine as normal or above the normal value (25 mIU/mL).
Accurate to 93% when performed correctly.
