LadY's Mantle Leaf

Alchemilla vulgaris

Lady's Mantle is a native British wild flower. 

Culinary: The young leaves can be eaten raw or lightly steamed. The root is edible although a little astringent and should be well cooked. The dried leaves are used to make a herbal tea.

Medicinal: Lady's Mantle is traditionally used as a uterine astringent & hormone balancer for heavy periods & menopausal symptoms.
