Houttuynia cordata

A food supplement to support your health sometimes known as common wireweed. 

Extracts such as tinctures or essences offer a convenient alternative to herbal teas. They may also be used in food, food supplements, cosmetics and as a starter ingredient by herbalists in prescription formulas.


Houttuynia cordata  extracted in ethanol (alcohol). The part used is the leaf. The strength is 1:3 25%. Suggested serving size of 2.5 ml. 




Adults: Take up to 2.5 ml 3 times a day unless otherwise recommended by your practitioner.




Only use this tincture under the advice of a medical or herbal medicine practitioner.


Do not use if you are pregnant or if you are planning to become pregnant without your doctor's approval. Not all herbs are suitable in breastfeeding or for young children, or if you are unwell, have health concerns or an ongoing illness.
